As the playoffs begin to loom large, there will surely be daily checks of the power rankings and upcoming schedules.
On the diamond, there hasn't been any shortage of players coming through for their teams when they need them most lately. Whether it's extra-inning heroics, late homers, consistent offense or dominant no-hitters, there's plenty to highlight.
Throughout the season, we’ll run a weekly watch list each Friday, recognizing standout performances across the state. As a friendly reminder, attending every high school game in Massachusetts is impossible, so we rely on reports from coaches and social media accounts to select the performers in a given week.
