We're essentially halfway through the high school baseball season in the Bay State. Before we know it, the playoff brackets will be out on May 28, the tournaments will begin May 30 and we'll be crowning champions at Polar Park on June 13 and 14.
There's a lot to unpack among the top performers from the last seven days. Be it stellar performances on the mound, including a no-hitter, or a 10-RBI day at the plate (yes, you read that right), there were plenty of fireworks.
Throughout the season, we’ll run a weekly watch list each Friday, recognizing standout performances across the state. As a friendly reminder, attending every high school game in Massachusetts is impossible, so we rely on reports from coaches and social media accounts to select the performers in a given week.
