The New England Baseball Journal is excited to announce its 10 candidates for MIAA Baseball Player of the Year.
The selections were made by the New England Baseball Journal staff along with input from coaches from around Massachusetts. The list highlights 10 players from 10 different schools. While five candidates make the cut due to their respective prowess as two-way players, four more are on here due to dominance on the mound. Perhaps most impressively in a showcase of the depth of talent across the state, four of the candidates are either sophomores or juniors. A school's division has also shown not to be a factor with two players hailing from Divisions 2 and 3 and another from Division 4.
The winner of the 2023 New England Baseball Journal MIAA Player of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, June 21.
