The top high school teams in Massachusetts have tested themselves against the best repeatedly during the opening month of the season.
In this week's MIAA power rankings, many of the top 10 teams have already squared off. In fact, the No. 1 and 2 teams played on Opening Day.
The top 10 teams include five public schools and five privates. Three of the top 10 teams played in the Super 8 Baseball Classic last weekend. The top 10 does not include a single defending state champion, but it does include two defending sectional champions.
