With two weeks to go in the MIAA's regular season, we now know where the state championship games will be held.
The MIAA Baseball Committee announced this week that Holy Cross' Fitton Field and Lowell's LeLacheur Park will serve as host sites for the MIAA state finals.
The state semifinals will be played at Westfield State, Bentley University, Fraser Field (Lynn), LeLacheur Park (Lowell), Campanelli Stadium (Brockton) and Bridgewater State University. Teams must conclude their respective seasons by May 30 for tournament seeding purposes. The state tournament is scheduled to begin on June 3.
We attempt to provide a glimpse at which teams might be playing in those state final and semifinal matchups by ranking the top 10 teams in the MIAA.
