WORCESTER – Javier Borges set the tone.
Seekonk's right-hander struck out the side in the top of the first, sitting all three batters down looking.
In the bottom of the first, Borges ripped an opposite-field single after Declan Lush's opening double, setting up Tyler Kropis' two-RBI knock to open the scoring for the No. 4 Warriors.
The rest of Borges' teammates followed suit, and they never looked back en route to an X-X win over No. 6 Pittsfield for the MIAA Division 4 state title.
Here's a full recap, plus four standouts from the game.
