Our final MIAA Baseball Top 10 of the regular season comes with movement at the top.
For the first time this year, a team other than Franklin holds the No. 1 ranking in Massachusetts, and it's a Division 2 team that sits at 17-1. The new No. 1 will play in the Central Mass. finals on Wednesday night versus Tantasqua, but that game will not count towards postseason seeding.
Elsewhere in the top five, an undefeated team slides into the No. 2 spot after completing its regular season with a perfect record. Central Catholic, Franklin, and defending Division 2 champion Milton could all still compete for the No. 1 spot at the end of the postseason, depending on each team's respective tournament run. While there is a reshuffling of the deck in the bottom half of our poll, we have one new entrant who is back after a hiatus.
Here is our last MIAA Top 10 poll of the regular season. All records are reflected on results through Monday, May 29.
