The MIAA Baseball regular season is in its final stretch, and with it, there is shake-up in our top 10 poll.
For the first time this year, we have a new team at No. 2 in our rankings. After Milton held that spot down for the first six weeks, another Division 2 team has charged ahead and through its consistency proven it's worthy of that slot right now.
Westford Academy went unbeaten a week ago to remain perfect on the season. Outside of No. 1 Franklin, no one may be playing better baseball right now than Central Catholic, who went a perfect 5-0 over the last week. And while some teams remain just on the fringes of the poll, a South Shore program makes its first appearance during the 2023 season.
