The final weekend of March had a little bit of everything for New England’s Division 1 baseball teams.
The winning continued for teams ranked in New England Baseball Journal’s most recent Top 10, with UConn returning to the national rankings and Boston College hitting the road to take two of three from an Atlantic Coast Conference rival garnering national attention.
Bryant won twice in New York City, while two Northeast Conference foes also won series entering the month of April. Harvard powered its way to an Ivy League series win, while archrival Yale was in tight games throughout the weekend.
Quinnipiac and Fairfield went unblemished in weekend MAAC play, and Atlantic-10 foes Rhode Island and UMass concluded March on a strong note. In addition, two America East teams from the region faced off, Northeastern broke out the bats, and Holy Cross used K’s of its own to log a series win in the Patriot League.
