It is shaping up to be a Super weekend for the three New England-based teams remaining in NCAA tournament play at the Division 2 and 3 levels.
Southern New Hampshire continued its East Regional dominance with its performance to advance, while both D3 regionals contested within New England’s borders needed a dramatic finish to produce local victors.
Here’s a look back and look ahead at NCAA action for advancing SNHU, Endicott and Wheaton. The two D3 Super Regional openers will throw the first pitch Friday at noon and SNHU follows at 3 p.m., while the second and third (if necessary) games of all three series are set for Saturday.
We also put a bow on the season for the other regional clubs that competed on the national stage this past week.
