NCAA transfers: D1 catcher to switch coasts, D3 MLB prospect to stay put

By Joshua KumminsMay 29, 2020

New England Baseball Journal’s latest transfer update includes a Division 1 catcher expected to finish out his career closer to his California home, a pitcher returning to the region and an in-region move for one of the top strikeout pitchers in the local Division 3 ranks.

Players from all levels continue to impact the transfer wire as the traditional start of summer baseball seasons nears. That movement will certainly continue.

NEBJ has also recently learned about one of the region’s top D3 prospects announcing his intention to remain at that level next year despite receiving attention upon entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

If you know of a New England transfer that we have yet to mention, please email the author at jkummins@baseballjournal.com.
