NCAA transfers: Sacred Heart adds two pitchers, Yale gets Duke transfer

By Joshua KumminsDecember 8, 2020

Babson College pitcher Jordy Allard (Babson Athletics)

As preparations for the 2021 season continue, New England Baseball Journal’s look at transfers across all levels of the college game does as well.

Our latest “transfer tracker” features two new Sacred Heart pitchers who will look to help the Pioneers compete for a Northeast Conference championship, as well as an addition to the Yale roster from a power-conference school. Also featured is a pitcher from one of New England’s top Division 3 programs who will get an opportunity to compete at the sport’s highest level come the spring of 2022.

This is the latest update in an ongoing series that began in the spring after the 2020 baseball season was cut short due to COVID-19. Our most recent transfer updates profiled Maine pitchers on the move, two more D3 standouts cashing in on D1 opportunities, and another California talent headed to UConn.

If you know of a New England transfer -- from any level -- that we have yet to mention, please email the author at jkummins@baseballjournal.com.
