With a new academic year and the fall season underway, New England Baseball Journal continues its look back at the best of the best from summer ball in the region.
The second of our summer All-NEBJ teams for 2024 focuses on the NECBL, where our lists includes representation from seven of the league’s 13 franchises and eight of New England’s 19 Division 1 programs.
After winning the Coastal Division and claiming the No. 2 overall seed in the NECBL postseason, the Newport Gulls became the first team since the Valley Blue Sox in 2018 to capture a second straight Fay Vincent Sr. Cup last month, defeating the Sanford Mainers in walk-off fashion to cap off a three-game title series.
As usual, players listed on our All-NEBJ rosters must hail from New England and/or play their college baseball in the region.
