A trip around the baseball diamond always leads back home again.
This summer in Wakefield, R.I., that statement has a whole new and special meaning.
The journeys of Zac Zyons (Bryant) and Jack Wentworth (Seton Hall) have been intertwined for more than 15 years, dating all the way back to the same Kindergarten class and Little League and ultimately to South Kingstown High School, where they were four-year varsity teammates and won a Division 1 state championship together in 2018.
After going their separate ways for college and the past two summer league seasons, the duo has reunited as NECBL teammates with the Ocean State Waves.
