Our weekly "Watch List" series covering the region's three summer collegiate leagues continues with our first installment highlighting locals playing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
A slew of New Englanders as well as players from some of college baseball's most recognized programs have the Newport Gulls and Plymouth Pilgrims leading the way in a jam-packed Southern Division race. All six teams are separated by three games entering Friday's play. On the flip side, The Valley Blue Sox have taken a more commanding lead in the Northern Division and lead the league with 12 wins.
