The New England prep baseball season is heading into its climax, with league tournaments for the ISL, CNEPSBL, WNEPBL, Founders League, and FAA scheduled later this month.
Our most recent Prep Coaches Poll indicates that there are still as many as four teams vying to finish as the No. 1 team in New England. The ISL title could be won by any of the eight teams that qualify for the league's championship tournament. A team from outside the CNEPSBL could finish as New England's top team for the first time since 2017.
It's been a different year, mostly due to the increased parity across all leagues. There is so much prep talent across New England, it is no longer consolidated among the top handful of programs.
