Why hydration is important
Fluid is essential for maintaining blood volume and helping with circulation (remember, blood carries oxygen to our working muscles), regulating body temperature, helping with muscle contractions and more. Almost all aspects of sports performance, from mental acuity to recovery, are affected by hydration status.
