Auburn, Mass., native Tyler Beede has spent the 2017 season with the San Francisco Giants’ Triple-A affiliate — the Sacramento River Cats. The 24-year-old right-handed pitcher is 6-7 on the season with a 4.79 ERA. The Lawrence Academy (Mass.) alumnus and former Vanderbilt University right-hander is one of the top prospects in the Giants’ farm system.
