The prep baseball postseason is set to kick off today, and Worcester Academy will begin its quest to repeat as the No. 1 team in New England.
The latest guest on The Base Path Podcast is Worcester Academy coach, Mike Abraham, who led the team to a Central New England Prep League championship and the No. 1 ranking in the final NEBJ Coaches Poll last spring.
Abraham helped break down the CNEPSBL Tournament and his own team’s chances of repeating as the No. 3 seed.
“I think we’re playing our best baseball right now,” Abraham said. “That’s exciting as a coaching staff. Our league has been outstanding this year, as it is every year. Everybody beat up on each other, and I think that’s what makes it fun.”
