Reigning Independent School League (ISL) Coach of the Year Matt Duffy recently joined The Base Path Podcast to look ahead to the 2025 campaign.
Duffy took the helm last spring, leading the Arrows to an ISL championship and a 10-1 regular season ISL record, capped off with a 13-1 total record and a perfect 3-0 run in the playoffs.
The St. Sebastian’s School alumnus and 2007 ISL MVP led his alma mater to its first ISL championship since 2018.
Duffy played at St. Sebastian’s from 2004 to 2007, serving as a four-year starter at shortstop. As a senior, he earned ISL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. He went on to play at the University of Vermont and then the University of Tennessee before being selected in the 20th round of the 2011 MLB Draft.
