The Powerhouse Bulldogs, based out of Longmeadow, Mass., are starting to emerge as a travel program capable of producing high-end D1 talent. For example, a pair of 2024 high school graduates, Colin Larson and Cesar Gonzalez, have already committed to Boston College.
The Bulldogs' recent track record of producing college commitments -- with 50 commits over two years -- is noteworthy considering the travel program has only recently fielded teams at the high school level post-pandemic.
Still, the Bulldogs can take credit for developing several pro prospects at the youth level prior to its foray into the high school ranks, including former big-leaguer Isan Diaz, 2015 MLB Draft pick Seamus Curran, and 2022 Cape League MVP Matt Shaw, who is projected to be a first-round pick in 2023.
As part of our Travel Ball Spotlight Series, we'll take a look at the Powerhouse Bulldogs' list of committed players, top uncommitted prospects, and other program offerings.
