If you had put the 2011 Lawrence Academy baseball team up against any opponent, no matter the era, they still would have been a superior force to contend with.
That is how gifted, talented and unique a group they were. Before the season ever got kickstarted, the Spartans knew they had all of the tools in their toolbox to go out and perform well. And perform they did.
LA finished the 2011 campaign by going 17-2. What is even more compelling were the Spartans finishing 15-0 in the highly-competitive ISL to win the league championship. A rarity in this day and age.
