The 2023 season marked a changing of the guard among New England’s prep programs, as it marked the first year since 2018 in which Phillips Andover did not finish atop the season-ending rankings.
The top three teams in the top 10 were from three different conferences — the CNEPSBL, Founders League and ISL. The WNEPBL, NEPSAC Small and Fairchester Athletic Association were also represented in the top 10.
Prior to the 2024 prep season, we polled the coaches to get an indication of how the prep power rankings might shake out.
