Tim Atwood's entrance into Bridgton Academy came by way of chance.
After graduating from college, the Gorham, Maine, product found an opportunity to return to his home state. That was 15 years ago, and Atwood has remained ever since.
Bridgton Academy's Dean of Students also serves as the Wolverines' assistant baseball coach, under the direction of head coach Aaron Izaryk.
Atwood attended Gorham High before doing a post-graduate year at The Gunnery School (now Frederick Gunn School). He followed that up by committing to Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. Atwood played baseball at all three institutions.
