Located just down the road from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School has an established, well-respected baseball program. The Knights have won or shared seven Independent School League (ISL) titles.
Looking back at the start of the 2020 campaign, there was plenty of hope and promise surrounding the program. The talent and range of depth was in place for a sustained run. Then, in a flash, it was taken away from them when schools across the country closed its doors in favor of remote learning.

"I think the 2020 and 2021 BB&N teams would have been very strong with an array of college commits, and it is hard to know what the program could have accomplished in both of those seasons,'' said junior middle infielder Alex Sandell. "The 2020 complete cancellation of the season was a heartbreak because the group was very hungry for a bounce-back year after a lackluster 2019 performance.
