Tyler Harmony always had an ambition to play college baseball at a high level.
However, he wasn't sure if that would come to fruition when he still didn't have a college commitment after leading the Fairfield Warde (Conn.) Mustangs to a 2023 CIAC Class LL state title.
A couple of months removed from his state champion campaign, Harmony decided to enroll at Canterbury School as a reclassified junior.
"I knew that if I were to play college baseball at a high level, I needed to work on my self-discipline inside and outside the classroom,'' said Harmony. "I needed to be in a college-like environment to prepare myself for the next level. I also needed to improve my time management skills and hone in on my grades.''
