Having two sets of brothers on one team is unique, to say the least.
But at Westminster School in Simsbury, Conn., it’s reality. Brothers Rowan and Easton Masse, and Ben and Alex Mihailovich, are all members of the varsity baseball team. To have one set of brothers is considered more common, but to have two sets is highly unusual.
Even more, all are considered highly talented and each will play a major role this spring within the competitive, Connecticut-based Founders League.
“I think it is a pretty rare thing to have two sets of brothers within one program,’’ said Martlets coach Tyler Wosleger. “I am not sure how much the boys realize it, but it is pretty special. It may not hit them until years down the road but donning the black and gold alongside your brother will definitely be a great memory. When the older sibling comes first, it is hard for the younger one to not follow in their footsteps.’’
