WINCHENDON, Mass. -- Bryan Muenzner's primary position is strength and conditioning coordinator at the Winchendon School, a post he has held since 2019. Although Muenzner works with multiple student-athletes in all sports at the prep school, his main focus will always center around baseball.
Muenzner is also associate head coach and director of baseball operations, working under the tutelage of head coach John Toffey.
"I was always interested in coaching and was told at a young age to work toward what you want,'' said Muenzner. "I worked from when I was 17 to 27 in restaurants, being a volunteer coach, an umpire, doing carpentry with my father, working at a bank. All of those were temporary jobs. Then I found myself in the hospitality world when I turned 28. I then realized that working with people is the best opening for anything that you want to do.
"I was in hospitality until I was 34 and was also serving as a volunteer coach (under Toffey) at Cheshire Academy and now as an assistant here at Winchendon. When the opportunity to stay at Winchendon as a full-time staff member came in 2021, I took it, and it has just grown from there.''
