DEDHAM, Mass. -- Paul Everett served as assistant baseball coach at Noble and Greenough School for three seasons before head coach Rob Murray moved his family to California following the 2024 season. With Murray waiting in the wings, it was clear who would be Murray's successor.
Murray and Everett had worked together to create a philosophy for practice plans, in-game strategy, and developing players for the next level.
"I feel very lucky to have worked alongside Coach Murray for three seasons,'' said Everett. "He was a good teacher and mentor to me. I feel I learned a lot from him. We formed a great bond as the years went on. He was great at preparing the team for every situation defensively and offensively. Coach Murray held the team to a high standard, which I believe prepared the team for their continuing baseball careers.''
A physical education teacher at Sparhawk Academy (Millis, Mass.), Everett played collegiately at Mass Bay Community College and Framingham State University. He is also head coach of the 15U program with the MWS Devils summer travel team. He, along with Joey Magnani and Chris Billings, started the program 11 years ago. Now he is preparing for his latest challenge of guiding the Bulldogs.
