With the 2021 prep baseball season now in the books, it now time to start looking ahead.
With all schools expecting a back-to-normal situation in 2022, including a full slate of league and independent games as well as the resumption of postseason tournaments, the focus is now on some of the top players who will be returning with their respective clubs for next spring.
While it is still a bit early to nail down which players plan to transfer to prep schools for the 2021-22 school year, we can provide some clarity on which athletes will return.
New England Baseball Journal reached out to a lengthy list of prep coaches to get their take on whom they believe will be their top returning players for 2022.
