While some prep programs were able to schedule close to a full slate of games, other coaches and players were at the mercy of school administrators who chose to limit scheduling to only a handful of contests due to COVID protocols.
The fact that prep teams were able to return to the baseball diamond, after having no season a year ago, was something worthy of celebration.
While players and coaches were dealt many obstacles to maneuver around this spring season, several teams made the best of a challenging situation and put forth outstanding efforts and long-lasting memories.
New England Baseball Journal has put together its annual top 10 ranking of prep teams.
