Carter Bentley enrolled at Rivers School last year as a repeat sophomore. The two-way prospect transferred over from Westborough High (Mass.) after putting together two outstanding seasons with the Rangers.
"I decided to come to the ISL (Independent School League) for a more challenging schedule,'' said Bentley. "I knew a bunch of people that went to Rivers and loved it, and a good friend of mine and teammate (Max Stevelman) helped me with the admissions process."
Bentley is a three-sport athlete, also playing football and basketball for the Red Wings. While he has found the academic workload to be more strenuous at Rivers, he prefers the social environment at the prep school.
"I have met so many good people, and I have gained some of my best friends here,'' Bentley said. "Sports helped with meeting people with the same interests as me, and it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable at my new school.''
