Salisbury School '23 catcher/pitcher Sachem Ramos is considered one the most versatile prep players in the Northeast. Ramos played a major role in Salisbury School's WNEPBL championship run last spring and will be counted on again this season as the Crimson Knights look to defend their title.
"Our expectations are huge,'' said Salisbury coach Kevin Huber. "Sachem is not worried about any pressure. He not only welcomes the challenge but meets it head-on. If we plan to repeat this spring, he will have a massive impact on our success.''
Now in his second year at Salisbury, Ramos first reached out to Huber in the summer of 2021 as he was searching for a school that would suit his academic and athletic needs. Ramos spent the majority of his life in San Anselmo, Calif., and began his high school career at Archie Williams High School.
Due to a family business decision, Ramos moved cross-country to Massachusetts in 2020. He first enrolled at Manchester Essex Regional High before reclassifying as a junior and heading to Connecticut.
