Kevin Huber had big shoes to fill at Salisbury School when he accepted the position in 2017. The program's list of accomplished coaches included Dan Donato, Mark Leavitt and John Toffey.
The program hasn't missed a beat under Huber. Since 2017, the Crimson Knights have won the WNEPBL Young Division every season and claimed two outright WNEPBL titles in 2018 and 2022.
Two of his former players, Theo McDowell and Dylan Castaneda, were MLB draft selections, and are now playing in the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks farm systems, respectively. Over 60 of Huber's players have gone on to play collegiate ball, including 10 present team members who have already made their commitments.
"We have been extremely fortunate with the caliber of players that have worn the Salisbury baseball uniform, even those predating my arrival,'' said Huber, who also serves as Associate Director of Athletics at the school.
