Nolan Puglisi, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound right-handed pitcher/outfielder, spent four years at St. John's Shrewsbury.
Due to the fact that two of those years (2020-21) were canceled or shortened due to COVID restrictions, Puglisi felt the need to take a postgraduate year to continue his college search. Puglisi enrolled at Williston Northampton School this past fall.
"This extra year has allowed me to better myself and grow into a stronger pitcher and player overall," Puglisi said. "Williston has been a great decision for me. I do not regret coming here and playing football and baseball. Originally, when I came here, it was something completely new to me, so I was a bit overwhelmed at first.''
Puglisi joined the football program in the fall under the direction of Wildcats head coach Tom Beaton, who played a significant role in helping Puglisi get better acquainted with his new surroundings. Puglisi helped lead Williston Northampton to the NEPSAC Mark Conroy Bowl.
