With the 2022 prep baseball season set to kick off, players throughout New England are carving out their respective roles for the upcoming season. Many multi-sport athletes are making the transition from hockey, basketball, wrestling or track seasons — sports that can also help prepare baseball players for the competition they’ll see in the spring.
Many of the returning players on this list have already made significant impacts at the New England prep level. Others will make their mark for the first time.
