Two New England players from the same school recently represented the Northeast at the 2023 Area Code Underclass Games.
Westminster School’s Easton Masse and Wyatt Nadeau played for the Northeast regional squad, the New York Yankees, at the University of San Diego's Fowler Park during the first week of August. The top high school prospects from across the nation in the classes of 2025 and 2026 earned invitations to the showcase tournament.
Both Masse and Nadeau are a part of Westminster's Class of ‘25. At the Underclass Games, they were joined by fellow New Englanders Bradley McCafferty (Austin Prep), John Paone (Lawrence Academy), Quincy Bright (Salisbury School), and Bennett Crerar (Cheshire Academy).
Masse has been a standout performer with the Martlets upon his arrival at the Simsbury, Conn., institution. Nadeau, who began his high school career at Gorham High in Maine, is an incoming transfer to Westminster this fall.
