Kevin Graber is coming back to Phillips Andover.
One of the most accomplished coaches in the history of New England prep baseball, Graber will return on Monday to his many previous roles on-campus (Senior Associate Director of Admissions, residence hall director, academic advisor, teacher, head baseball coach). Graber spent the last two years in the Chicago Cubs organization as a field manager at the Double-A level, among other roles.
"It came time to assess whether pro baseball is the direction I want to go moving forward," Graber said. "We had great conversations with the Cubs and Phillips Andover. In the end, Andover is where I feel most fulfilled and can do the most good."
At Phillips Andover, Graber presided over New England’s top prep school program from 2010 to 2022. His teams won CNEPSBL championships in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2018, and 2022. His 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 teams ranked No. 1 in New England, and Graber was named Northeast Region Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in 2018 and 2021 and New England Region Coach of the Year by the National High School Baseball Coaches Association (NHSBCA) in 2018 and 2022.
