The 2024 prep baseball season was memorable for the influx of talent at New England programs. More and more college prospects are extending the recruiting process by enrolling at regional prep schools.
Avon Old Farms emerged as the region's top program last spring, earning the preseason No. 1 ranking and then regaining the top spot at the season's end after winning its second straight Founders League title. However, Deerfield also spent some time in the top spot after claiming its Central New England championship.
Look for both teams to compete for the No. 1 ranking again this spring, along with a host of other talented clubs around New England.
