It is a known fact that for any team to raise its level of play, it must have a dependable third baseman to rely on.
Playing the hot corner is not for everyone. It takes a special talent to perform the duties of the position, field all types of balls hit in that direction, posses solid and accurate arm strength, maintain agile reflexes, have sturdy footwork and acquire soft hands among a host of other skills.
