Prep Schools: NEBJ Coaches Poll #6 – May 8, 2018

Cheshire Academy snags 17 of 19 first-place votes

By Joshua KumminsMay 8, 2018

Nine of the 10 teams ranked in New England Baseball Journal's sixth Prep School Coaches Poll of the season retained spots from last week's installment, but just two received first-place consideration.

Cheshire Academy took home the No. 1 spot for the fifth time in six weeks, collecting 17 of the 19 first-place votes. St. Sebastian's picked up the other two to remain in second place, ahead of a Salisbury team that switched places with Phillips Andover despite recently suffering its first loss of the season. After slipping just outside the top 10 last week, Phillips Exeter is again ranked.
