Three New England high school prospects attended a Prep Baseball Report scouting event in Chicago last weekend, getting mid-winter opportunities to showcase their respective skills in front of more than 100 pro scouts.
This was the 20th annual PBR Super 60 ProCase, making it PBR's long-standing scouting event. It annually draws some of the top draft-eligible high school prospects in the nation. In the 2021 MLB Draft, 32 previous Super 60 participants earned selections, including three first-rounders and the No. 1 overall pick, Henry Davis.
Since the event’s inception in 2003, more than 300 players have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 25 first-round picks and 26 second-rounders.
Not all top prospects accept invitations to the Super 60 due to conflicts with other sports or schedule downtime during the offseason. Nonetheless, here's a look at three New England prospects who performed well at the Super 60 showcase.
