During an eight-year minor-league career, Ryan Klosterman played parts of three seasons with the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
But it was a road trip to Norwich, Conn., more than a decade ago that ultimately would bring Klosterman back to New England as the new head coach at Bryant University.
It was there where Klosterman met his future wife, Kaitlyn, who hails from Eastern Connecticut. She followed him as he completed his pro career in 2011 and embarked on a college coaching career, including the past eight seasons as the top assistant and recruiting coordinator at Central Florida University.
Now, Klosterman, 37, is as excited about being able to bring his family (including two young children) back to New England as he is to step into the big shoes of his predecessor and take over the successful Bryant program.
