Red Sox need to restore their power in ’18

After finishing last in the AL in homers, here are five ways the Red Sox can increase their output

While watching the Astros and Dodgers play Home Run Derby in a World Series that had nonstop electricity, it was a bit of a wakeup call for the Red Sox, who somehow watched a season-long power surge in MLB pass them right by.

Perhaps WEEI.com columnist John Tomase put it best with a tweet during the Fall Classic.

"In retrospect, it’s amazing the Red Sox were able to win 93 games and compete with any of these teams after finishing last in homers," Tomase tweeted.
