You can't truly appreciate the magic of the Cape Cod Baseball League until you've seen it with your own eyes. The Cape League made a triumphant return on June 20 with a full slate of games for the first time since 2019.
While the cancellation of the Cape League season was just one of many losses that resulted from the pandemic, it was a significant one for baseball fans on the Cape and surrounding areas.
Cape League games from opening week showed record attendance -- including 10,808 on opening night alone. That is the largest cumulative total for opening night crowds in Cape League history.
