The RI Devils travel baseball program, on the heels of a year in which 10 players in the Class of 2022 made college commitments, plans to expand beyond the upper high school age groups.
A program with only 40 players at the 17U and 18U levels in 2022, the RI Devils emerged as a contender at New England showcase events, such as the Perfect Game New England Fall World Series. The Devils finished as runner-ups in that tournament, and coach Chris Genao believes there is even more talent on the way in the graduating classes of '24 and '25.
"We don't have any college commitments in those classes yet, but some big things are in the works," Genao said.
To get a sense of what's coming for the RI Devils, we profile the organization as part of our Travel Ball Spotlight Series. Here's a look at 2023 commitments and plans for the summer season.
