Tom Pender is a player any public or private high school would take delight in having on its roster.
Roxbury Latin has been the lucky recipient of his services, and now the third baseman is set to kick off his final season with the Foxes.
Pender is considered one of the top two-way players in New England. He is a two-time All-ISL recipient, earned an ISL Silver Slugger award last season, and is a two-time All-NEPSAC selection.
Pender moved to the forefront of the ISL last spring, when he batted .467, with a 1.476 OPS, six doubles, two home runs, 11 RBIs, and six stolen bases.
