A dozen of New England's top high school prospects got a chance to showcase their talents at two of the top national showcase events over the last week.
"Scouting season" for incoming high school seniors kicked off with the East Coast Pro Showcase Aug. 2 to 5 at Hoover Met Complex in Hoover, Ala., before continuing with the Area Code Games Aug. 7 to 10 in Atlanta.
A total of 10 players with New England ties competed in the East Coast Pro Showcase, while nine competed in the Area Code Games. Many of the New England players competed in both showcase events.
