The Summer Riser Series brings the travel ball season to a close, as most high school prospects give themselves a break even if they plan to return to the diamond in the fall.
The series is meant to highlight players who helped their respective stocks this summer. It might be a player who is suddenly popping up on pro scouting reports. It could be a player who is suddenly generating D1 interest. It might be a player who is now likely to play in college. Or it could even be a sub-varsity player who carved out a key role for himself on the high school team heading into another school year.
The first three parts to the series include Class of 2025 prospects, Class of 2026 prospects, and Class of 2027 prospects. We conclude the series today with the Class of 2028 prospects.
