An 18-man roster has been selected for Team Massachusetts' representative in the 2024 Geico High School Baseball National Championship Series.
Returning head coach Bill O'Connell, who is also the head coach at Braintree High, has the flexibility to add two more players to the roster before the tournament begins in Omaha, Neb., on June 27. O'Connell plans to see how injuries and other commitments impact his current roster throughout the spring season before adding any additional players.
This year's roster currently includes 16 players in the Class of '25 and two more in the Class of '26. Team Massachusetts will compete in the East bracket against teams from Florida, Georgia, and Michigan. A total of 16 states will be represented in the tournament, with a national champion set to be crowned on June 20.
